Product Data Acquisition: Trends and Market Survey: in cooperation with Nord-Informatik company (http://www.nord-informatik.de) Topics Description Important Milestones In this seminar students are required to make two 15-minutes presentations and submit a final paper (max 15-pages) on the following dates:
Schedule & Grading The seminar will include several sessions with presentations of the participants and sessions with invited speakers. Your presence at all of the sessions is obligatory.
Your final grade will be a composite of your mid-term presentation (15%), final presentation (15%) and final paper (70%). Research Methods A good seminar work implies the usage of the research methods. These methods will briefly be made available during the second seminar sessions and can be downloaded here Research Methods . After the “Introductory Session” and subsequent topic choice, every student must prepare him or herself by reading the literature relevant to the selected problem, and prepare an approach and method for reaching his/her target. Please consult your supervisor for relevant literature and if you are moving in the right direction. A good seminar work can be your first step in writing a sound master thesis (Diplomarbeit).
